Care Ministry

Service, or a place of ministry, is very important to spiritual formation as our abilities and spiritual gifts are used in service for Christ. Our placement ministry provides consultations for placement into an area of service.

We endeavor to have everyone in our church family cared for, growing spiritually, and involved in service. We also encourage faithful attenders to join our membership and be committed to the life and ministry of AHEFC in this manner as well.

A quick glance at our support ministries includes:

  • Care and Support

  • Assimilation

  • Newcomers Reception

  • Congregational Care

  • Hospital Visitation

  • Support Groups

  • Funerals

  • Social Concerns

  • Pro-life Events (e.g. Life Chain, etc.)

  • Angel Tree

  • National Day of Prayer

The mission of Congregational Care is to provide for the needs of individuals within AHEFC. Specifically, this ministry welcomes newcomers, visits those in hospitals, and encourages individuals and families through various support ministries.

The mission of Social Concern is to inform, educate, and motivate our church family to be spiritually balanced, responsible, and alert citizens. The goal is to honor Christ and model the precepts of Micah 6:8 "...to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our Lord." This ministry promotes pro-life events, the National Day of Prayer, Angel Tree, and other special projects, such as needs of the homeless. If you have any questions about these ministries, please feel free to contact the church office, 847-392-4840.
